A lot of us are in the habit of snacking or munching on something or the other all the time. This doesnt allow our body to move away its resources from digestion and energy production to other importnt matters like healing and repair of cells, tissues and organs. Over a period of time, the body loses its structure because it just doesnt get enough time to repair itself. Hence its important to keep gaps between you eat.
